2-Butoxy ethanol acetate is a kind of high boiling point, polyfunctional group-containing glycol ether ester solvent, which can be used as coalescent for latex paint. It is widely used in colorful paints and emulsion paints. Di-2-Butoxy ethanol acetate has a very high boiling point, and is mainly used as a high-boiling solvent for high-temperature ceramics and printing inks, as well as a coalescing aid for latex paints; due to the slow volatilization rate of this solvent, and its low solubility in water, it can be used as a solvent for screen printing ink, and a solvent for polystyrene paint printing glaze; it can also be used as an azeotrope for the separation of alcohol and ketone. 2-Butoxy ethanol acetate series products can dissolve ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, grease, rubber nitrocellulose, etc.
